Buxton Church in the Peak holds regular worship meetings throughout the week, two of which take place in our building The Source (see map at the bottom of the page).
Regular Meetings
Sunday – Morning Worship from 10:30 am
Sunday gatherings start with refreshments at 10:30am and are lively meetings with modern worship, a time of bible-based teaching and open prayer. We welcome children and young people with activities and groups provided depending on numbers. Keep an eye on our facebook page for news of any one-off changes to our schedule or venue.
Wednesday – Little Church starting at 6:00pm.
Little Church is a group for adults which also meets at The Source involving worship, learning and a meal together. It’s a less formal format than our main Sunday gathering and could be seen as a gateway to worship for people not used to being part of a bigger congregation.
Weeknights – Various days
Home groups meet in people’s homes throughout Buxton on different nights of the week from 7:30pm. Home groups are a great place to explore faith in a relaxed environment and to enjoy friendship and mutual support. If you are interested in attending a home group please get in touch and we can advise which would be the nearest/most appropriate group for you.
Where is The Source building?
We are located just up from Spring Gardens (the main shopping street in Buxton). Although we do not have our own car park, parking may be found on Hardwick Street; within ‘The Slopes’ car park further up Terrace Road or within the Market Square (even further up Terrace Road). If you are able to walk a comfortable distance please consider arriving a little earlier, walking that little bit further to free up space closer to the building for those less able.
